We announce with profound grief that as a consequence of September 20th suicide bomb attack at Marriot Hotel Islamabad, two employees of INBOX (a Dawood Group Company), working at The Dawood Group Islamabad offices, located at Evacuee Trust Complex, situated right next to Marriot Hotel, died and four Group employees were injured, one of whom is still in a critical condition.

The names of the victims of Saturday night’s incident are: Saad bin Khalid, 24 years, System Engineer-MIS and Muhammad Javed, 34 years, Office Boy, who succumbed to injuries at Holy Family & KRL Hospitals, respectively. Among the injured were Sajid; Security Guard of TDG, Razzak; Driver of DHCL Lahore Office, Babar Ali; Office Cleaning Boy of Inbox, all three admitted in Naval Hospital Islamabad and Muhammad Aslam; Waiter of TDG, taken to Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi. Sajid was critically injured but is gradually showing improvement. Razzak & Babar are also getting better and are expected to make a full recovery. Aslam requested to be discharged from the hospital and is currently being looked after at Dawood House Islamabad.

The Management of Dawood Group offers its heart felt condolences to the families of Saad & Javed and prays for eternal peace and blessing of the departed souls and the quick and complete recovery of the injured employees.
